Students learn better and teachers teach better in a safe, secure and peaceful school setting. Providing that type of environment is just one of the responsibilities of the Fort Bend ISD Police Department.

Fort Bend ISD Police Department has grown dramatically through the 1990's and is on course to continue in both the quality of education and size well into the 21st century.  Complementing this growth has been the professional development of the district police department.

The department is charged with the responsibility of providing a safe and secure environment while providing a variety of services in a professional and competent manner.  To accomplish this task, the department provides a professionally trained service oriented law enforcement agency assigned to fulfilling life and property safety needs for a district population of more than 65,000 students and staff.  Every member of the department is committed to providing the district with the most extensive law enforcement services possible.

We are indeed thankful for the cooperation and support given us by the Board of Trustees for recognizing the need to protect and serve the district community.  Without this cooperation, the district police department would indeed be ineffective.

Our department is working diligently to serve and protect the educational environment in our schools.  Please feel free to call or stop by our offices if we can ever be of assistance to you, your child or community.

Sincerely,
J. L. Campbell, Jr.
Chief of Police
